I have bad knees. One thing that has really helped me run with these knees is good compression braces or sleeves. The UFlex Compression Knee Brace Sleeve has quickly risen to the top of my list for when I need a little extra support.
Traditional braces can be bulky and uncomfortable. I have a few of those gathering dust in a closet somewhere. But these are breathable, lightweight, and soft.
I have really put the UFlex sleeve to the test over the past couple of weeks with things that would usually leave me in pain within a few hours and achy for days.
Who is it Good For?
- Anyone who wants a little extra knee support.
- Anyone recovering from an injury or surgery.
- Hard work out or race finishers who need help getting blood moving and reducing inflammation.
I will also preface this with the fact that we have discussed this before: we do not recommend wearing a knee brace just because you want to. If a brace is worn when it is not necessary, it will just amplify muscle deficits more and may even cause weakness where none previously existed.
That being said, this is a fantastic tool to aid you when you need it.
Let’s see how they held up.
UFlex Knee Brace Sleeve Overview
The UFlex Knee Brace Sleeve is designed with 4-way stretch technology with a mix of nylon, polyester, spandex, and rubber. The material is flexible, soft, and very breathable.
The compression provides support while reducing inflammation and swelling.
There are different areas providing different levels of compression to provide the best support for each spot.
For example, you can see there is a different pattern around the kneecap area to give the best support to the patella. It also creates almost a kinesiology tape design.
At the top of the interior of the sleeve, there is a double silicone anti-slip grip. This truly held the sleeve in place all day with no readjustments needed.
UFlex has truly created a sleeve that is meant to move with you.

UFlex Knee Brace Sleeve Review
I had a total knee replacement nine months ago at the age of 43. No, running didn’t cause this. We all know running doesn’t do that.
Fortunately I went in as strong as I could so my recovery was quicker than some people. But I still needed some extra support when finally getting back to building up and doing the things I love.
Plus, my other knee took quite the beating when it had to take on the lion’s share of the work.
So when I got the opportunity to test out the UFlex knee brace sleeve, I was very excited. They looked durable, comfortable, and like they would actually help.
I really did not hold back on testing these sleeves. They have taken me on runs and long walks.
The true tests? Hours of standing, volunteering, and cheering for the Twin Cities Marathon. And moving houses on an 85-degree day.

I can happily say the performance is beyond amazing! I almost forgot I was wearing it until the end of the events.
One of the things I liked most about the UFlex knee brace was how comfortably it fit.
The brace felt comfortable on my knee and stayed in place while I wore it. That was important to me because I didn’t want to spend my time constantly adjusting a brace or worrying about it slipping down.
There are a variety of sizes and a very simple size chart that helps you pick the best one for you.
And their chart is very accurate. There is nothing worse than picking your size only to find that it is way too snug when you put it on.
The four-way stretch makes it easy to put on and allows you to move with you while providing the right amount of compression.
Our Verdict
Sometimes, it’s the simple things that make a difference in your routine. For me, the UFlex knee brace offered a comfortable fit, stayed in place, and gave me that added feeling of knee support I was looking for.
