Next week is all about running gear and the details you need to know…so to kick things off and get us in the mood I thought what better than a giveaway of all the gear needed for a great run! From a GPS watch to protein to powders and more!
Since it’s also time to celebrate Dad’s soon, this might just save some of you a little shopping time…even if you don’t win these goodies are great for the sweat fan in your life and of course should you win and decide not to share, we’ll keep it our little secret.
Running Gifts Dad Will Love
Why do they always seem so hard to buy for?? I mean worst case scenario you get a gift card to RoadRunner Sports or REI which will have darn near anything they could possibly need!
But if you’d like to have something to wrap, here are ideas from high end to easy peasy.
Garmin Multisport GPS Watch
I’ve tested a WIDE variety of GPS watches and told you all about them from Polar to Suunto to Garmin and what I’ve found is that Garmin often has the full range of features that make it both a sport training and lifestyle watch that can be worn all the time.
The Garmin Fenix is pricey, but a durable watch that will do EVERYTHING.
Admittedly, my Dad would probably be WAY happier with the Garmin Golf watch..hmm ideas. Anyhow stay tuned next week for more on GPS watches and my continued thoughts on TomTom!
Hoka ONE ONE Shoes
Who is ready to find out if the Hoka One One is their new favorite running shoe?? It’s made my knees feel great and what Dad (or runner) wouldn’t enjoy that! Look for a full review next week on all the features…but for now get excited about a shoe with cushion and zero drop loved by many many Ultra runners.
ExoProtein
If you ever told me I’d be eating bugs, I’d have laughed in your face…but then I wouldn’t have believed I’d be a marathon runner either! Welcome to EXO made with cricket flour proving me wrong once again!
Dad’s love to push the boundaries right, so you can pretend you got this just to gross him out and then take a bite…and then wander off with the rest of the bars. Hey they love to share, right?!
Dairy-Free, gluten-free, 10 grams of protein this is a great pre or post workout grab and go. Flavors: Cacao Nut, Blueberry Vanilla, PB&J, Apple Cinnamon {this is what you’ll get in your prize pack so you can test it all!}
BlenderBottle GoStak
Remember my recent talk of traveling with food and being concerned about all my powder in plastic baggies…bam no more issues thanks to the new Blender GoStak!!
Stain and odor resistant, twist in lock, use one or use them all and easy to carry! He can take his protein powder and snacks with him to the gym or office for that post workout recovery.
Arm and Hammer Anti-Chafe Stick
No one likes a stinky Dad and no one likes being chafed, so we have both things covered here! I found this to be one of the better sticks for helping to truly prevent chaf issues because it also provides a layer of moisture and let’s be honest, Dad isn’t always on top of lotion.
Apace LED Vision
We all need to take safety seriously and something as easy as an LED light that you clip on to your shorts, hat or bike can make a world of difference for those early morning or late night runs.
With up to 96 hours of batter life, a set of two and an included Velcro strap, you’ll have no excuses for not being seen!
Runner Massage Gun
The foam roller just got even better with this new tool that you can use on his back to give him an at home massage or he can use alone to work out the kinks in those quads and calves from long runs.
