Fabletics Review: Is the Fabletics VIP Membership Worth It?

I’ve been sporting Fabletics since they first began and it is far and away the gear that I get the most comments on. I still have pieces that are a few years old which people want now. But that’s the trick, they keep changing the styles.

But then you head to their site and I see the confusion set in…wait do I need a membership?

I’m going to break this down for you, along with what I think about the gear!

OK SO THAT’S THE BASICS, but let’s dive in to the nitty gritty.

Here’s the deal – they want to make CUTE, QUALITY clothing that doesn’t cost half your paycheck. One of the ways to truly do that is knowing they can serve you repeatedly. It’s why they can offer prices that are so much better!

If you’ve been trying to figure out if Fabletics is worth it or not, then Fabletics review is perfect for you! I’ll go over exactly what Fabletics is, and cover how it works and what to expect. I’ll then go into what I like about Fabletics and the pros and cons of the membership.

Fabletics is a popular activewear brand that was founded in 2013 by Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, along with Adam Goldenberg and Don Ressler, co-founders of TechStyle Fashion Group.

The brand was launched with a mission to provide stylish and affordable activewear for women, with a focus on inclusivity and body positivity. The founders’ goal was to create high-quality workout clothes that would make women feel confident and comfortable while they sweat.

Since its launch in 2013, Fabletics has grown significantly. Originally, the brand offered a subscription service where members could receive new outfits each month.

However, over time, Fabletics expanded its product line to include more options and styles, as well as a men’s line. And so now you can purchase items individually or through a VIP membership program.

How Does Fabletics Work?

Fabletics offers a VIP membership program to its customers and let’s dive into a review of it because that’s the basis of their whole website.

This program gives members access to exclusive perks and discounts that are not available to non-members.

You can buy without out it, but the prices are generally double and they exclude you from things like their 2 for $24 leggings.

You’ll be asked to take a lifestyle quiz that’ll ask you questions like how you like to get fit so whether you’re into running or pilates, etc. and where you work out, so in the gym or trails, etc, the colors you like and your body type and sizing preferences.
After that, you’ll receive their introductory offer which is two pairs of leggings for $24 in the email and monthly outfit recommendations.
Once you sign up as a VIP Member and get 50% off all prices and free shipping over $59.95 and points towards gear
Then every month you login in and shop the brand new styles by using the member credit you received. It’ll allow you to choose any 2-piece outfit or 1 item that’s up to $100. Plus they are constantly running member only sales that are like 80% off at times!
And yes, that means you PICK what you want! There are no pre-designed boxes with things you may or may not want. You decide if you need leggings, a sports bra, a top, shoes, whatever is on your list!
OR you can go in and opt to skip a month on Fabletics! Maybe you’re traveling, maybe it’s the holidays, whatever you don’t have to get a box, but you still get the great prices.

To skip a month, you just log in to your account and click the button that says to “skip the month”.

If you do this before the 15th, you aren’t charged for the month. This ensures you can keep getting member prices, but only order on months that you want!

So what’s it like being a member of Fabletics and what are there policies. Here’s everything you need to know if you’re looking to become a Fabletics VIP member:

As a VIP member, you’ll receive a new outfit every month for a flat rate of $59.95 which covers the monthly subscription fee. This outfit includes a top and bottom that are carefully curated for you based on your personal style preferences and workout routine.

Fabletics figures out your personal style by asking you to take a 30-second lifestyle quiz when you first sign up.

But, if you’re not interested in receiving an outfit one month, you can easily skip that month without any penalty. You can also cancel your membership at any time by contacting Fabletics customer service.

But the benefits of being a VIP member don’t end there. You’ll also have access to exclusive member-only sales and discounts throughout the year.

These sales can save you up to 50% off the regular retail price of Fabletics products, making it a great way to stock up on high-quality activewear without breaking the bank.

VIP Membership Perks

In addition to discounted prices and exclusive sales, VIP members also receive early access to new collections. This means that you’ll be the first to know about and have access to the latest and greatest Fabletics products.

Plus, as a VIP member, you’ll receive free shipping on all orders over $49. This can save you even more money, especially if you’re someone who likes to place frequent orders.

If you do receive an outfit that you’re not happy with, returns are free for VIP members within 45 days of purchase. Simply request a prepaid return label and ship the item back to Fabletics for a full refund or exchange.

Personally, I believe the Fabletics VIP membership program is a great way to save money on high-quality activewear. With exclusive discounts, early access to new collections, and a rewards program that lets you earn free products and discounts, it’s a no-brainer for anyone who loves Fabletics products.

Basically the math says if you are someone who works out and wants cute gear, it’s cheaper to be a member than not.

Why I Like Fabletics Gear?

I think you can see from the photos that they have some fun styles, but there are a few other reasons that I like their gear. Fabletics leggings come in more colors and patterns than I’ve found anywhere else, which I love because I don’t want to wear black non-stop.

Finding leggings that are long enough can be the bane of my existence, but not here! Both their casual outfits and workout have always worked on these stems!

2. Sports Bra Variety

Listen I’m not shy about saying I’m in the itty bitty club, I don’t need massive pumped up bras and they offer that!

But they also have the serious support providers in crazy cute colors and styles, which makes me happy knowing my friends can get what they want.

Every month there are new looks, which makes it way more fun to update your style than yet ANOTHER pair of black pants.

How many times have you pulled on a shirt and thought “ok this is the last time I should wear this.” But then you finish, you wash it, you don’t have time to shop and well…you just keep wearing it.

5. Lasting Quality

I have pieces from Fabletics that I’ve been wearing for a few years now and they are still in good shape. I think that speaks to the quality of the gear!

6. Leggings with Pockets

Most of the Fabletics leggings have a back pocket, but a lot of the newer models also have a side pocket for a phone.

I have found that it absolutely fits my iPhone 7, but I probably wouldn’t do many runs with a phone in the pocket because the pants aren’t that tight.

How is the Fabletics Sizing?

The one area I did have to play with a little bit is the sizing.

Loose tops run very big
Tighter fits run pretty true to size
Sports bras run pretty true to size
Leggings are pretty true to size, but I sometimes feel I need a smaller size to keep them up while running. So if using for yoga, or less intense activities not an issue.
