While being active and outdoors always brings a smile to my face, I have found that running is far and away my favorite…did the website of 2,000 articles give that away?!

But what about racing? Do I love it as much as I love running?

When it comes to racing, the truth is that I could take it or leave it a lot of the time.

The best thing about a race is the opportunity to really test yourself… ok that’s a lie, the best thing is chowing down on some kind of crazy meal with your friends after the race as you relive the entire experience. HA!!!

In the last few years, my race reviews have veered away from being just how the race went for me in to full on reviews to help you decide if it’s the right race for you!

Does it have a lot of hills or slanted streets? Is the post run fest more of a snooze? Did they skimp on porta potties?? All the things that matter!!

You can click on any race below to see details and while time is not crazy important to me, I know people want to know so I’ve listed those too. Helps to see the difference in courses and my journey through running in different cities and post surgery.
