Mr.BMX loves to bike and I have always seen options for biking tours when we go on vacation, but declined because at that time I just wasn’t biking much.
Now that I have started biking more, I was excited for the Napa Valley wine tasting bike tour. It did not disappoint and I can’t wait to book our next trip because I know Mr. BMX will be very happy that I can now enjoy this with him!
OAKLEY WOMEN AND TREK
I can only imagine what the drivers were thinking as they saw 100 women all dressed the same and using the same Trek bikes come zipping down the road. On top of our matchy matchy style we had an amazing photographer who was driving along side us taking pictures (which I should get soon!), so yes we totally felt like celebrities. A few people honked and of course we waved like the important ladies that we are.
Trek actually has a whole division that does travel tours, so their team fitted everyone with a bike (yup size 19 for these long legs) and a shiny new helmet, then lead us on a bike ride that stopped at 3 wineries. They provided each of us with their newest hybrid bike and it was a sweet ride. The seat is supposed to work better for women by moving with you, but many of the ladies who don’t ride often didn’t think it was so amazing. What can I say, the tush takes some time to adjust.
I don’t drink often, but I sample some of the ladies drinks and it was all tasty. Honestly for me it was all about the views…I love nature and being surrounded by it for hours on end was pure joy.
The 10 ambassadors…I know I’m the only one wearing my black race shirt, but seriously the tank was too sweaty post run to just keep on…they say sweat is a sign of fitness, so I am very fit.
Have you ever done a bike tour? I’m now looking for some great places to go!

I read this earlier this morning and have been thinking about how neat this would be ever since I read. I love biking and I love wine, a win-win situation! I don't think they do anything like this where I live but I would love to particpate!
Anna
That run looked like a lot of fun!

Wow, I am so jealous! Although, even if I had the chance to do something like that, I'd have to learn to ride a bike. Someday.
Heather:
I love to ride! I actually did a 4-month bike tour across the US a few years back. Was nice to get off my bike in the end, but it was still probably one of the coolest things I've ever done!
Katie
I love bike tours, but I've never done one like this – everyone riding the same bike. how fun!
Amy
That looks like so much fun! I would do it just for the scenery as well!
